When you think of violence, what originally comes to your mind? Men performing most of the violence, or females? Your correct atleast 90% of all violent crimes are commited by males, and atleast 70% are victims of crime. That leaves females with atleast 20-30% compared to the males. But why are men so violent? Is it the advertisements they see? The video games they play? The stereotype " boys will be boys" or what? What gives men the power to believe they can do what ever they want and be all bad ass? In my own opinion men violence is getting extreme these days. In the past most violence was domestic and relationship abuse, now in 2010 all the types of violence are combined including domestic, rape, abuse, fights, stabbing and shooting. Would verbal abuse be called as violence or harassment? Ofcourse anything harming the opposite person emotionally or physically is called as violence. But id love to talk about domestic abuse right now, atleast 2 woman die a week in the world from domestic abuse and are fed up with their boyfriend/ husband verbally or physically abusing them. What is so bad about verbal abuse and domestic? It can lead to suicidal, men dont experience the same emotions as woman do, so they run their mouth to the next level and cut pieces of that girl bit by bit till she becomes suicidal. Is it nice seeing either male or female with a bruise or scar on their body? Absolutely not, we may all laugh when we see violence of someone getting beaten up but it it abosuletly not funny. Imagine yourself in that person's position or shoes being the one abused? Obviously your body is aching in pain from all those hits on the face or arm. Others may find it hillarious to watch and think its cool, meanwhile its classified as abuse and violence which could lead you to " A VICTIM OF CRIME ".
When you look at the picture to my left what do you think? Is this funny or is this cool? Clearly it his horrifying the woman is being abused verbally and physically, cant you see her face is covered in tears and shes crying? Some men are raised with violence either by seeing their parents go through it, or either they are victims of violence. Men either grow up being violent from experience, or by learning from others like their role models its okay. Why do parents use the term "BOYS WILL BE BOYS" when their little boy does something bad. Is this stereotype okay and classifying men properly? No, not all men in the world are violent. Some are classified as romantic and passionate, and committed to relationships which they care for their lover, and other men may be classified as cruel, selfish bastards aswell as criminals.
In conclusion all i have to say is DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, VERBAL ABUSE, PHYSICAL ABUSE, RAPE, FIGHTING, ANY TYPE OF VIOLENCE KILLS.
